MINISCULE FRAGMENTS OF A MORBID EXISTENCE

I could detect that lingering sadness in her eyes, sending me some signals about her troubled state of helplessness. I could sense some hesitance in her mouth as she tried to convey her words with great care. She was hiding something underneath her soul, or maybe she wanted to say something, but something was stopping her midway. Maybe she wanted to spit it all out in front of me, but it’s just that she doesn’t trust anyone any more. The world has betrayed her in so many ways that it’s beyond her grasp now to have faith in anyone any more. She has built a new, impenetrable wall around her, a wall so thick that even sound can’t pervade through those solid molecules. She has given in to the ruthlessness and morbidness of the cruel universe. The universe has left her stranded in a dark corner of its vast infinitesimal volume, a volume so unbearably large that she won’t be able to bear its weight for far too long. Slowly, she will crumble and the fragments of her physicality will gradually fall apart into miniscule fragments of shattered segments, only to be amalgamated into the emptiness of the boundless ocean of existence.
