I’m at the beach. I see faces filled with ecstasy and joy of watching in front of their eyes such a large body of water whose horizon even their eyes cannot fathom. Eyes. How mysterious they are, aren’t they? How two pair of spherical natural lenses attract so much of what lay in front of them, is quite extraordinary and, if you think it deeply, you’ll be mesmerized by the creation of it; the making of those eyes. Who could have got the idea for creating such a masterful pair of external organs that will transcend the other person’s mind and get what he or she is thinking inside? Well, whoever has, we are grateful to them.
Eyes are like that medium through which we connect our inner world with the outer world, or the universe. Without our eyes, the universe wouldn’t have existed in the first place for us to see.
Well, if we hadn’t had those eyes, forget about the universe, there would have been nothing to see, but complete blankness.
Your eyes are like a damp, dark, deep well; what lay underneath is beyond anyone’s fathom of comprehension; what lies on the surface is nothing but a mere false deception, a red herring constantly fooling the beholder.
We all have different kinds of eyes.
Large moving eyes; small twinkling eyes; eyes filled with ecstasy; eyes betaking stillness; eyes enveloped with utter sadness and melancholy; eyes drenched in otherworldliness; eyes sandwiched with a mix of excitement and nervousness; eyes lacking mere expression; eyes overflowing with emotions and exaggerated expressions; eyes carrying the burden of a family; eyes ready to burst into a waterfall of tears; eyes waiting to shine like the morning sun; all are beautiful in their own ways. We all have them at some point of time due to certain circumstances.
I have a friend. There is something strange with his eyes, though. I sometimes feel he isn’t actually looking at anywhere. Like he is looking at you, but his eyes point to somewhere else completely. Like his eyes are focused on the middle world between us, the world which my eyes can’t perceive with its ordinariness, but his can. I feel like he’s got that higher perception about stuff that I have no idea about; higher perception about higher dimensions and alternate realities; realities that transcend our normal comprehension. Maybe he is from another world, who knows. Maybe he is normal. It’s just that we are a bit dumb; that we aren’t using our cognitive abilities that much, for which we haven’t been able to have that comprehension of that other world or alternate reality or whatever. Maybe it’s just there; right in front of us. It’s just that we are in a lower dimension, unable to see it directly. Only those who train their minds like that, will be able to see. Who knows, there are so many things we have no damn idea about. Again, it’s all about perception. All about how you perceive everything through those convex lenses fixed under your forehead. It’s all about those eyes; eyes needed to be filled with a bit more curiosity and open-mindedness for higher reality.
