Connected through a cord through some invisible force I, Abhisek and Debanshu have been on a journey of eternal friendship, selflessness, self-exploration and many ups and downs that every friendship has to go through someday. Even though it’s been ten years, the tethering hasn’t been contaminated with any form of dust through its running period. What eventually has occurred is that we all have evolved way beyond our own imagination both physically and mentally, only adding fuel to our companionship. Our comradery has survived all those hurdles and hindrances of our mundane and miserable lives. Though our lives haven’t been filled with any uplifting circumstances, we have bound ourselves despite the fact that fate has us secluded from one another many times. Even though there was a huge gap of two to three years where we rarely had any conversation as we didn’t bear any phone, we still have stuck to each other to this day. It has passed through all those missed calls that couldn’t be received; through all those meetups that couldn’t happen; through all those years of long distance longing and sorrow of missing each other’s jubilant company. Today, here we are, sitting on the rough sands of our hometown beach, listening to some old radio as we are enjoying ourselves staring at the serene blue sky that has spread its invisible wings to some far infinity our eyes can’t even comprehend.
