Post Rock, Jazz, Melancholic Post Rock, Rock, Hard Metal; nothing could pierce past the wall of suffering and agony that my heart was having to bear that dark and bleak night. Every time sadness emerged within, I would turn on some music and let the beats and sound of the guitar chords penetrate through my lug holes. That would instigate a sense of repose and solace within my core. Music had always been my companion and soulmate throughout the times of depression and despondency. Music perforates my heart to outstretch itself to my mind inducing a sense of nostalgia and relaxation among all the repression.
Music is like that vast ocean; once you’re in it, you just don’t want to get rescued anymore. Music pushes me into that whimsical state of surreal dreams that dances in front of my eyes with its vivid imagery and symbolism. It manifests an aura of dreamy, imaginative atmosphere that one can only encounter by experiencing its alluring beats and consequential lyrics. Music has indeed the power to transform one’s imagination and perspective towards life itself. Music is something that can be described and understood only through itself. Words are mere alphabets for its description and comprehension. Music is that gorgeous flower in that garden of dead leaves and thirsty plants. I don’t have enough words to describe it as everyone has in some way or the other some weakness towards some form of music. Instead of reading this stupid article on music, you should go and listen to your favorite music right now with headphones on; totally indulged in the beauty of it all. So, what are you waiting for? Just leave this page and turn on something and dance to its beautiful tunes.
