12 Angry Men:
12 Angry Men is a 1957 Sidney Lumet Legal Drama directed by Sidney Lumet. In this film, a 12 member jury decide together whether to give a boy, who has been accused of murdering his father, a guilty or not guilty verdict. In the beginning, 11 of them give him a verdict of guilty except one man who cites that he has a sense of doubt whether the boy has really killed his father. Now the other 11 convinces him that he is guilty by showing them the facts and witnesses. But as the story unfolds, one by one turn down their initial verdicts.
What is amazing about the film is that every character is emphasized almost equally and almost everyone gives an opinion based on their own personal history and prejudice. It’s a really engaging film where one doesn’t get bored at all. The film has also amazing actors with authentic acting. It’s highly recommended for someone who wants to be a writer or get better at screenplay writing.
