How are you guys doin’? Well, it’s been a long time I haven’t posted anything. After a lot of thinking about what to write, I finally decided to write about films, music, books that I love and in one corner of my heart also wants everyone to watch or listen or read to. So, everyday I will post the films that I have loved and the books I admire and the music I can’t live without. Thank you for reading. So here’s my first recommendation for anyone who loves cinema and wants to watch something suspenseful, edge of the seat and engaging. Don’t worry. No Spoilers.
DOUBLE INDEMNITY :
Directed by Billy Wilder, this 1944 noir classic is a deep insight into the lives of an insurance salesman and his client which get a bit disturbed after the insurance man tries to kill his client for a woman. The film is so engaging that you will keep guessing what will happen at the very next moment, and you’ll keep guessing till the end credits roll. It’s a great watch for someone who loves old stylish edge of the seat crime movies with twists and turns. It’s also regarded as “The Ultimate Noir”. Noir is a sub-genre of Crime films mainly made in the black and white age of stylish American crime dramas. So do watch this movie for its suspense and tension and let me know in the comments section how much you liked the movie.
